This collection of screenshots includes action shots from actual gameplay. None of these are posed or choreographed in any way. They happened just the way you see them. They are photos I thought were worth being proud of.
Assassination…
There is one mistake that will get you killed almost every time while playing Halo 3 and that is failure to pay attention to your radar. I wasn’t crouched or anything. I was moving above this guy and he never saw it coming. I liked this shot because the guy just does a face plant upon assassination.
Bullshotty
Bulltrue baby! I love stopping the guy with the sword. They creep and crawl and get their ninja on, but it has to end sometime. And for this guy here, I was the party pooper. I chucked a grenade around the corner and he lunged. I jumped in the air and shot him in the face with a Shotgun.
A Tale of Two Snipes…
I was playing a little Social Slayer on Valhalla. I grabbed the Sniper Rifle and sat back near the edge of the water and looked up at the hill in the middle of the map. Like clockwork the other team kept taking the middle lift on their base to the middle of the map. These were two of my 8 Sniper Kills. These two took place seconds after one another and were a part of my Killing Frenzy.
Coming Down…
This was just a cool shot of me jumping off the platform on one of the ends of Rat’s Nest. I was actually jumping off to land in the Warthog so I could drive it.
On The Down Stroke…
In this shot I was playing Swords in Lone Wolves. Swords is definitely one of my favorite game variants. I followed a guy up the yellow lift and he had landed and turned to attack me as I came out of the lift. I lunged at him and the sword missed but it killed him on the down stroke.
Sniped the Jumper…
In these photos I was pinned down in the corner on The Pit. My attacker was bearing down on me with a Battle Rifle and I had my Sniper Rifle equiped. I fired off a couple of rounds and got his shields down. I was down to one round left and so I waited for a sure shot to finish him off. I managed a head-shot. It was a beautiful thing.
Triple Kill on Guardian…
During a 4-on-4 social slayer game, two guys on our team quit early on in the match. We actually won the game and I was the MVP. My partner took the lift up to the side of the room with the yellow lift. He started firing at the other team but got killed. He weakened a couple of their shields and I followed right behind him to clean up the mess with a Triple Kill. I think this play was what got me the MVP in my opinion.
Picked Off the Rider…
During a Team SWAT match one guy decided he was going to try to splatter me with a Mongoose. No such luck. A simple head-shot unseated this attacker. Rider beware.
Death From Above…
During a Double EXP weekend of Fiesta I was perched along this walkway on Cold Storage with a Rocket Launcher. The poor man never saw it coming.
Swordsman Slayer…
During a Social Slayer match on The Pit, the attacker was trying to sneek around the corner to go back to the sword room. Little did he know I was crouched and ready with the Shotgun to thwart his attempt.
Double Splatter…
During a Squad Battle on Rat’s Nest two players on the other team started shooting at me while I was riding by on the Ghost. They ducked into the middle room. The set up a regenerator and waited for me to follow them in there. Which I did. There regenerator ended up failing them both.
Surprise! Now Get Out…
While playing Social Slayer one of there team was trying to splatter me with the warthog. I hid between two rocks near the beach base and waited for him to circle around to look for me. I surprised him with a shotgun to the face and then I stole his ride.
Upside Down? No Problem…
One of the odd things about the Warthog Turret is you can fire it even if you make it roll. If you end up on your wheels after the roll, you’ll never stop firing. If you end up upside down then the fun is over. I ended up killing this dude after he flipped us over.
Violent Hitchhiker…
This guy was just having fun and I had to go and ruin it all for him.
Get Lost, This is My Ride…
Just another highjacker situation in which I busted this guy in his mouth for riding in my Warthog. Eat this knuckle sandwich!
Tag, You’re It…
This was a weird kill. Me and this guy did this jig around each other trying to melee the other. In the end I chucked a plasma grenade and it planted itself right on the back of his head. The blast killed me too and credited him with the kill since he had lowered my shields.
Arboreal Attacker…
This shot looks like I’m coming from the trees to attack. I love the backdrop of Guardian.
Coming Down…Again…
There’s a place on Blackout where the main platform and the sniper tower platform have a gap between them and a path that runs underneath. I jumped down on someone and blasted them with the shotgun. The shotty always has great lighting effects.
