Impaled by the Rocket Launcher…
I was playing Fiesta Slayer on The Pit when I was killed by another player. The resulting picture was due to computer glitches and not the actual RL piercing me. It made for an interesting photo.
Grifdance
A friend I made online during this game started doing the Grifdance (as he called it) and made the rest of us do it too. It was so stupid and yet so much fun. There was this little song he was humming when he did it and it got stuck in my head for a week. Normally when I see someone doing dumb stuff like this in a game I make it my mission to kill that person as much as I can. Long live the Grifdance. This is a shot of us doing the Grifdance.
Through The Roof…
While playing Grifball my character was seemingly launched towards and through the opening in the roof of Foundry.
Rocket Launcher Warning…
“Hmmmm…it says here that prolonged exposure to this Rocket Launcher can lead to severe health issues and even death.”
Dirt Nap…
This was a freaky glitch that happened while playing on The Pit. A guy beat me down with the sword but there was some kind of weird delay and then all of a sudden my body is in the ground with my arms and legs flailing about wildly. The video clip is downright hilarious!
Wallride…
When I used to skateboard I remember trying to do wallrides. I could never do it. I could do it on Tony Hawk Pro Skater though. This screenshot was the result of me sticking the passenger side of a Warthog with a plasma grenade. The blast caused the Warthog to roll over in the air and hit the wall just like you see in the photo. It appears to be driving on the wall, but its really not…someday maybe.
Waving Good-bye…
It looked like my character was waving good-bye as he plummeted into the misty unknown on Guardian.
Birthday Candle…
During a custom game I came up with called “Stuckball” that I was playing with my son, he planted this Spike Grenade on the top of my noggin and it looked like a birthday candle on a cake.
Stuck (Seriously)…
During a Slayer match on Snowbound my character was blown up and a computer glitch somehow forced him into the ceiling of the shotgun room.
Smooth Move…
My friend on my team was on a splatter spree and wasn’t paying attention. He splattered me in the process. His Warthog was on the verge of being destroyed right afterward and he was getting out when he was killed. His body landed right beside mine. We looked like we were taking a nap.
That’s Me!…
While making my way through the map I came across my dead body from the previous time I was killed. In my head all I could hear my character saying to himself was “That’s me!”.
Uhhmmm…
This was a screenshot I took during campaign on The Storm. It actually appears in more than one place, but this was the first time I had seen it. Obviously the original intent was to show a man throwing trash away. Most signs of this nature only have one hand throwing the trash away. I’m not sure the game designers looked over this little graphic thoroughly enough. I assume that second thing protruding from his mid-section is his other hand. But then again…
Gun-Head…
This actually happens a lot. I guess I just never really paid attention to it. When you pick up another weapon you throw out the one you have. It looks like its sticking out of your face.
Breakdancing Elite…
This isn’t me but someone I killed and this was a shot of him hitting the floor. It looks like he’s breakdancing though.
Hand From The Grave…
I dropped a double box on myself in forge and half of my body got stuck underneath. When I respawned I went over to look at my body. When I hit my body with the melee button, he just kind of went into the ground but his hand stayed for a second.
