Here are some ODST wallpapers. I’m going to try to put out new versions of previous medals I’ve already done. I’ll probably make them “cleaner” looking. I’ve also began working on some other wallpaper sizes for widescreens.

New CSL Logo Design
This is just an idea I had for the Cactus Softball League. I designed the current logos that are being used, but sometimes I like to mess around with new designs. Its possible that this could be used somehow in the future.
I wanted a rattlesnake in the logo. The current logos have a cattle skull in them. I still think that is probably the best way to go but I wanted to mess around a bit with another idea. So I set out to look for clipart of a rattlesnake that I could use for my new logo. After searching and not finding anything worth using, I decided to draw it by hand and then draw it in Illustrator. It turned out pretty good in my opinion (which is obviously biased). I tried a few different looks for the snake, but decided on what you see here. I kept the same font because I thought it would be good for something to stay consistent in the logos.

Birds Of Prey: Prairie Falcon
I’ve been pretty slack lately about blogging. So until I have something interesting to write about, here is one of my drawings. Its a Prairie Falcon that I drew a while back. It actually took me a long time to finish this drawing. I have a bad habit of really getting into doing one thing which will consume my time and then I’ll get tired of it. Drawing is one of those things. I had started the drawing while I was excited about drawing and then stopped halfway through when I got tired of doing it. When I got the motivation to finish the drawing it was probably six months later! I’ve actually got a Peregrine Falcon that I’ve started and need to finish.
Birds of Prey: Red-Tailed Hawk
birds of prey
My favorite animals are birds of prey. Hawks, falcons, eagles, owls, kites, etc. Well, except maybe vultures, though they have a certain macabre quality to them. Well I probably will be less likely to draw a vulture than a hawk or a falcon. I started drawing pictures of birds of prey in colored pencil within the past year or so. Alas, I cannot draw from memory and so I use pictures to draw from. This is one of the first raptors I did in color pencil. It’s an American Kestrel. Most people that pass one on a powerline wouldn’t give it a second glance because of its size. But they are wonderfully colored birds.
